What You Can Do
You can do a lot to help animals around the world. Although you might think that just one person can't do much, there is a lot of change that happens when tons of separate people believe that their individual actions can enact change. Theres a lot of things that you can do to help any and every type of animal across the world. To read more about the various types of animal abuse please refer to the Resources tab.
Steps to Help Animals
Each step is imperative to the process to get animals fair treatment
- Read about the cause: examples on the Resources tab
- Choose what type(s) of animal abuse you would like to address
- Research various organizations
- Donate to an organization (or more than one) that supports your cause
- Don't purchase pets or supplies from organizations associated with animal cruelty (Puppy stores, certain shampoos, etc.)
- Tell people about what you've learned
- Speak to your state representative or to your state senators about changing animal cruelty laws
- Adopt a pet (optional)
